What is hell, in our simple life? Please elaborate your answers without giving googled answers.

I am a catholic.

Hell,heaven and purgatory are a states and not an actual place. It is where your soul goes

For me I have a mind, body and soul. While body is mortal soul is immortal. Once you die soul leaves you.

• Soul has 2 options either be with the body or with the God. Once you die it has to join with God.

If you lead a good life your soul qualifies to join with God, which is heaven.

If the person lead a bad life he is not qualified as his soul is not clean to the expectation.

So there are 2 options for the soul. The less corrupted ones goes to purgatory and after paying for the sins they reach heaven.

Those souls who lived in cardinal sin will go to hell.

I am not sure will they be in hell for eternity or God will save them in due corse.
