Is it right to believe in 'One God'? If yes, why do people fight over religions (since religion is, itself, made by people)?

There is only one God no doubt. But which one is it differs from person to person. So as solution many argue that a God which has no religion should be followed.
I don’t think pulling God out of religion serves any good. It only provides you a new concept of God. It is the Secular God Concept(Secular theology)
As a Christian I believe in Christianity. I do respect other humans and their believes but it doesn’t mean every has to share the same belief.
Being human is much more important than being religious. Often spirituality is misinterpreted as being communal. A spiritual person have concern for every human, the question of faith don’t arise at all.
Secular GOD
For thousands of years humans have given the concept of God many personas and histories. Some are quite human-like, allowing the believer to feel a highly individual relationship with one or more beings as if they were a parent, lord, friend or lover. Other cultures have given it a more impersonal and transcendent persona, evoking equally profound feelings of cosmic mystery and spiritual unity.
Many of us in the modern world simply aren't convinced by the assertions of the founders of the world's many religions. We remain skeptical that they came in direct communication with or achieved a unique enlightenment about the nature of that eternal something. This is where the secular concept of God have its origin.
Hope the God you are looking for is without any name and without any temple/church/mosque. I feel it is much similar to super human characters in comic books like superman, wonder woman etc.
  • One of the natural expressions of a secular view of God is a greater emphasis on a human rights based sense of morality.
  • With no clear mandate from ancient world authors to use as moral guidance we obviously must rely on human reason and experience to arbitrate on the subject of what is good or harmful for humanity.
  • With no revealed framework for understanding the world around us we obviously must place a greater emphasis on human reasoning and the scientific method to learn about the world.
  • In it the concept of spirit(human soul) is almost non existent.
  • The concept of heaven and hell is unexplained(it is different in all religions).
  • Good/evil is personal choice no laws, restrictions to adhere to.
  • We can mold it according to our convenience, so in a way no 2 people believe in same God.
  • With science as the basis for learning, many issues long settled by the different world religions become and remain an open mystery.
  • With no verifiable evidence to support anyone's specific supernatural claims we must also leave open the question of whether history has or is being guided by supernatural forces.
Many of my agnostic friends believed in this concept of God. Most of them are at present atheists.
